So this is the first post of my blog. I'll be blogging about life away from home, how things are going in school (once that starts) and whatever else I feel like (aka fĂștbol). So that's it.
I made it from Marylant to Georgia on less than two tanks of gas. That's pretty sweet. Also, A speed limit of 70mph is a good thing, just ask people in the south. I stayed with Pastor Mike Smith Wednesday, and also attended church there. I was able to share who I was, what I was doing, my burden for Spain and a few other things during the service. (The service lasted three hours, no joke.) Anyway, that was yesterday. Today, I left North Carolina at around 8:45, and arrived at my new home at about 5.15. Total time spent driving (from MD to GA= about 11 hours. Total distance= about 720 miles. That makes my average speed about 65mps, not that you care.)
I'm sitting here in the house (is it a house, a basement, an apartment? I dunno what to call it.) and no one else is here. No one. Seriously. I feel really...awkward sitting here alone. I mean, I pay rent and all that, but still. I'm the new kid right now. It feels weird being alone. Oh well. I suppose I should get used to it.
I think I'll go look for a job tomorrow. I'm almost out of money right now. I need to save as much as I can before school starts.
I think I'll keep it short and sweet for the first post.
